At Wholesome Prose we showcase short story works of Christian authors.  Christian authors are not that much different than other authors.  Their stories may or may not be interlaced with deep spiritual meaning or categorized Christian characters as some people might expect.  Nevertheless, Christian authors do have something that other authors don’t have: The Holy Spirit living inside of them, working with their God-given talent, inspiring, guiding, and even restraining them.  That’s the special element that gives Wholesome Prose stories their unique richness in dimensions of character, plot, color, and texture.
At Wholesome Prose, we don’t do stories with foul language or inappropriate story lines. It should be noted, however, that ours is not a children’s site and some stories may involve themes such as death or hell which, though perfectly suitable for adults, could be disturbing for children under the age of 14.  At Wholesome Prose our standard is simple: we won’t publish any story that you, our listener/downloader/reader, would be embarrassed to recommend to your pastor.
